In 2006 LHCB served the needs of women, children and families in Dumki and the surrounding villages:
- 14,830 patients were treated by the medical staff of LHCB - 12,246 in the outpatient clinic, 901 in the hospital, and 1683 in the village mobile clinics. In addition, vaccinations for dpitheria, tetanus, whooping cough, measles, tuberculosis and hepatitis were given to infants. Women ages 15-45 years received vaccination for tetanus. A total of 4448 immunizations were given in the outpatient and mobile clinics in 2006.
- 295 Savings Groups met regularly with 4623 members actively contributing the the groups' funds. 363 group members were recipients of loans to start or continue family businesses.
- 24 village schools participated in the School Children Health Education program with 600 students receiving education in health, hygiene, immunizations, and nutrition.
- 104 slab latrines were installed in surrounding villages.
During the 2 year period ending December 2006, 152 deep tube wells were dug in villages bringing arsenic free water to thousands of women, children and families.
520 women have participated in training for Traditional Birth Attendants. 318 women have completed the program and serve in their village communities assisting safe deliveries for mothers and babies.
